PERMANENT RESIDENCY

a lovely view

We have been appalled at reports in the newspapers that our elderly people who need to have someone to give them help and support being parted from their lifetime partner because some bureaucrat cannot accommodate their needs.

We have a lovely large house here in beautiful countryside which we are happy to run as a B & B but feel we would like to make someone's retirement years as happy as we are.

We have two rooms, which can be used for a couple or one which can be adapted to accommodate a single person.

We can also accommodate a small dog or a cat if you own one and would like to bring one with you. In Northern Ireland we are not regulated in the same way as on the mainland. As we grow our own food we pride ourselves that we provide our residents with a cooked breakfast consisting of what you fancy from our menu, which is comprehensive. Dinner in the evening is again a meal which we all enjoy and select your choice at breakfast. Lunch is usually soup, a sandwich and a piece of fruit.

Our residents live as part of the family and have access to all parts of the house save our bedroom. There is scope for you to potter in the garden if you wish and we encourage you to make yourself at home.

We cannot accommodate someone who needs nursing care ourselves but we would not turn someone out who became ill, his or her nursing care being provided by the local district nurse. Basic care we can provide.

We will maintain the third room as a Bed & Breakfast guestroom, which will be available for your family to book for a visit to see you for a long as they wish to stay.

If you or family would like to check this accommodation out book a weekend or two nights in the week at your cost and should you decided to come and reside with us we will refund the cost from your first weeks charges.
